About Me
I am a writer, editor, creator, virtual explorer. I’ve tried my hand at a lot of things, and in so doing learned that the more lessons I learn about a variety of subjects, the more applicable they are to new subjects. I think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades, capable of developing any skills as needed.
Over time I’ve put my efforts into a large array of personal projects, but Attention Deficit Disorder has left me with a lot of partially-completed works. I’m getting a handle on it now, forcibly engaging proper time management to ensure I make some sort of progress with my life. More importantly, I have always been able to focus when a deadline is in view, so I can work on a commission without major issues.
I spent the last five years or so in the dark, struggling to create anything of substance. As a result, all of my social media are somewhat out of date. I am now actively working to bring them back into the light one at a time, and this website is the first step to that end.
Projects
I have a lot of pies in the fire. The following are among the works that currently take up the greater part of my attention.
A fantasy setting for roleplay use in various systems. Currently in production at World Anvil.
SAGE
A tabletop game. Hybrid RPG and board game designed for simplicity and flexibility. Approaching secondary design phase: playtesting.
A compendium of interesting Items and Creatures for 5e. Tidbits can be found at GM Binder. I’m writing this in pieces to eventually compile into one work.
Current sub-project: Mounts of the Planes, a collection of creatures from around the multiverse that are fit to be ridden for transportation or combat.
Work
If you want to pay me to help you make something, visit my contact page. My credentials are as follows. (Items are listed in order of diminishing significance)
Education: University of Texas, Bachelor of Arts (English, minor Sociology)

Tools: Any word processor; Photoshop; Corel Painter; Inkscape; Blender; Pinnacle Studio; Scribus
Skills: Writing: Creative, Copy, Technical. Editing. Page formatting. Visual design and editing.
Content
I am preparing to expand into audiovisual media. The following are planned works, with others probably to come; however, I am currently in a poor position to record, so these are not in production at the moment.
Audio: I am planning a podcast, World of the Week, on the subject of worldbuilding. This is very much a work in progress and subject to much experimentation. The project is on hold while I search for a suitable co-host.
Video: I will be releasing content evenly distributed on YouTube and related platforms, covering a variety of subjects. Because this type of content takes the most time to produce, it may be a while in coming. I have notions to produce the following segments.
- Gaming Retrospective: Discussions on video games of the past and their influence on the current industry and the culture at large.
- Kitchening: Regarding cooking and culinary efforts.
- Tabletop Time: Regarding tabletop and roleplaying games.
- World Bits: Pieces from my numerous worldbuilding projects.
Visual: Artworks of various sorts, as well as short texts, can be found at my DeviantArt page.

Journals
My unorganized thoughts have been strewn across a few places. These have not been updated in some time, but may see a resurgence in the future.
https://stormteller.livejournal.com/ – That’s right, this website still exists. It also has the best design I’ve yet encountered for blog purposes, so I’m still using it.
https://stormteller.tumblr.com/ – I stopped updating this around 2015, but there are some good posts in the backlog.
https://twitter.com/FarawayStories – Was an experiment at telling stories in Twitter format, currently defunct.
https://twitter.com/ThoughtotSecond – A more conventional Twitter format and also my most frequently updated social medium, but consists mostly of political snark.
